Roadway construction at the Morton Street and Blue Hill Avenue intersection and at the Morton Street and Harvard Street intersections will prompt temporary lane and sidewalk closures next week, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT). The work is scheduled to take place daily from Monday, April 11, to Friday, April 15, during daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vehicular and pedestrian access through the intersections will be maintained throughout the project, but MassDOT “encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, reduce speed, and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.”
