Woman shot to death on Edson Street

The Boston Police Department reports a woman was shot at 36 Edson St in Dorchester around 11:15 p.m. on Friday. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

This is Boston’s fourth murder, and Dorchester’s second, in 2024.
