Operation Progress

Operation Progress – Thanks to a partnership with Operation Progress, 4 Club members who will be graduating this Spring will receive $10,000 Scholarships. Applications have been submitted and winners will be announced soon. The winners, family and friends will be invited to a ceremony on 5/22. Youth of the Year Program – Congratulations to Shane Kelly, the 2015 Youth of the Year at the Boys & Girls Club. As our Youth of the Year Shane was entered into the statewide competition which was held last weekend. The 2-day event brought together 38 teens from across the state that included a service project, social activities at the Woburn Club, and the judging at the State House.

Summer Program – Please note that there are only limited openings remaining for the Summer program at all sites. All remaining spots will be filled on a first come basis with late names placed on a waiting list. This is also in place for our Walter Denney Youth Center site located in Harbor Point. Our Teen program will be offered on-site from 7/6 to 8/12 from 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. weeknights. All-Star Teams – The Club has two travel teams playing in the NENEAPC program this Spring. The 12&U co-ed Indoor Soccer team recently traveled to the Salem, MA Club where they pulled out a well-played 4-1 win. The Teen Co-ed Volleyball Team also scored a win in their most recent match when they hosted the Brockton Club.
