The family of Kevin Cellucci announced Sunday that he had died, three and 1/2 years after a speeding West Roxbury teenager rolled his SUV across the Arborway and plowed into Cellucci’s pickup as he drove to a carpentry job. The driver, Nikolas Papadopoulos, got a year in jail for causing the crash, which also left one of his passengers permanently paralyzed. In the aftermath of the crash, friends launched the Kevin Cellucci Foundation to support his family. Cellucci leaves his wife Tina and his three sons, Stephen, Declan and Paul.
Kevin will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Friday following a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Brendan’s Church. His wake is 4-8p.m. at the Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy.
