




Boston Police command staff led by Commissioner Michael Cox met with neighbors in the basement of the Greenwood Memorial United Methodist Church last Thursday night for a briefing on crime trends in the Area C-11 district, which includes much of Dorchester eest of Washington Street. The meeting, billed as a “Community Compstat,” drew about 50 people, along with a group of 20 uniformed officers.

Gov. Maura Healey on Wednesday called for striking attorneys to get back to work while they continue to push for greater pay, and did not take a stance on whether their pay should be raised.

The Codman Square Health Center is planning to use a mobile van to serve new and existing patients who find it difficult to get to Codman or other health facilities. If things go well, appointments could be in play by next spring.
